How long does shipping take?
Please allow 3-5 business days for processing time once your order is confirmed. Once we ship your order out with your method of shipping, you will receive an email with your tracking number! Delivery time is dependent on your location, so please refer to your tracking number for the estimated arrival date.
How does free curbside pick-up work?
We offer FREE curbside pick up in the GTA at the following locations:
1) North York (Finch/Hwy 404)
2) Markham (McCowan Rd/Carlton Rd)
3) Newmarket (Davis/Yonge)
*Exact address will be provided after order confirmation. Once your order is ready to be picked up, we will contact you via text/email with a Calendly link to schedule a pick up time.

Why are your shipping rates so high?
We completely understand that it can be frustrating to have to pay for shipping, especially when many of us have been conditioned to expect free shipping from larger corporations like Amazon.
However, as a small business, it's tough to compete with these huge corporations when it comes to shipping rates. We don't have the same resources to negotiate better rates or absorb the cost of free shipping.
We use high-quality ingredients and sustainable packaging which cost more, ship carbon neutral and make donations to Team Seas to remove one pound of trash from our oceans with every order.
This is something that many companies don't do, but we believe it's worth it to reduce our impact on the environment. But don't worry, we have some tips to help you save on shipping costs:

Great question! At this time, we are only able to ship within Canada and the USA. We hope to ship abroad in the future!

What is the expiration date for your bubble tea products?
All expiration dates are marked on each product. Our bubble tea ingredients are shelf stable and don't expire until 2024-2025.
How do I make bubble tea? Are there instructions?
Making bubble tea at home is simple! Please visit our "Recipes" tab for instructions and tutorials for all bubble tea products.
Are your products nut, gluten and dairy free?
We strive to provide safe and delicious products for all of our customers. We are proud to say that all of our products do not directly contain gluten or nuts in the ingredients.
However, it's important to note that some of our products may contain soybean oil, almond peanut & wheat. These disclaimers are clearly labeled on their packaging and product listings.
It's also important to mention that our products are not certified gluten or nut-free, which means that we do not perform additional third-party testing for allergens.

Additionally, all of our fruit green teas and brown sugar kits are vegan. Our original and jasmine milk teas can also be made vegan by substituting our regular lactose-free creamer with our oat milk alternative, as our lactose-free creamer contains a milk byproduct (sodium caseinate).
Where are your ingredients sourced from?
At Retea, we take pride in using only authentic and high-quality ingredients to create the same delicious flavors you love from your favorite bubble tea shops. Our tapioca pearls are sourced from China, while our powders and syrups come from Taiwan, the birthplace of bubble tea. Additionally, we support local businesses by sourcing our tea leaves from a trusted supplier right here in Canada.
Help! I don't know which tea flavour to order.
Not a problem! If you generally like ordering milk teas at bubble tea shops, we recommend our brown sugar, original, or jasmine milk tea kits. If you like lighter/fruitier teas, we recommend mango, peach, passionfruit, or lychee green tea. Please give us a message if you want more specific recommendations!
Is your packaging sustainable?
At Retea, we are dedicated to implementing sustainable practices at every step of our business. We understand the importance of reducing our environmental footprint, which is why we are proud to say that we use 100% recyclable packing materials for all of our shipments.
This means that you can say goodbye to plastic tape and styrofoam and hello to recyclable boxes, cushioning, and kraft tape. We are also continuously working towards offering fully recyclable options for select products, such as our stand up pouches.

Is my Retea Cup dishwasher safe?
Yes, top-rack dishwasher safe! However, we recommend handwashing when possible :)
Can I put hot liquids in my cup?
That depends! Our cups are made out of high-quality glass so they are capable of holding hold liquids. However we recommend warming up the cup first before placing hot liquids inside to prevent cracking.
If you have a protective layer such as our bow cozy around the cup, then YES! If you don't, NO. Your hands might burn without protection.

How can I access my customer portal?
There are 2 ways to access your customer portal:
1. Click on the little human icon on the top right corner to login. At the bottom, click "Manage subscriptions." Login with the same email address used at checkout. A verification code will be sent to the email (or phone number if you signed up for automated SMS reminders at checkout).
2. You can access your customer portal by using a direct link. This link is normally sent in the Subscription Confirmation email when you begin a subscription, as well as the Upcoming Order email.
Do you offer free shipping on subscription items?
Yes, we offer free shipping on subscription items if all the items in the same delivery date (30 days) reach $75+ before taxes and after discounts.
However, if your subscribed items do not reach the minimum order value, you will be charged shipping based on your shipping location for each delivery.
We recommend adding more items to your subscription or adjusting the delivery frequency to maximize your savings on shipping costs.
How can I change my payment information?
To update payment information:
1. Login to the customer portal.
2. Click the Payment Methods tab.
3. Expand the payment method to be adjusted.
4. Click edit.
5. Click Send Update Email on the slider.
How can I update my shipping address?
You can update existing shipping addresses from the Shipping Addresses tab:
1. Login to your customer portal.
2. Click on Shipping Addresses. This will display all shipping addresses on your customer account.
3. Clicking the link on a specific address will allow you to update it as needed. Click on the Add New Shipping Info button to add an address.
Can I skip a delivery?
Yes, you can log in to your customer portal to skip a delivery:
1. Click the Delivery Schedule tab to see all upcoming deliveries for your subscriptions.
2. Click Skip next to the delivery you would like to skip. If you want to unskip a delivery, click Unskip next to the order.
Can I adjust my next order date?
Yes, you can login to your customer portal to adjust the order date:
1. Click Subscriptions and then click on Manage Subscription.
2. You will be taken to a page where you can edit the next order date for your subscription.
3. Once you select the new charge date, you can click on the Update next shipment date.

Can I add a one-time product to a subscription?
One-time products can be added to your subscription order! You can login to your customer portal to add products:
1. Click the Subscriptions tab and select Manage Subscription next to the subscription you want to add a product to.
2. Hover over the product you want to add and select Add one-time. This automatically adds the product to your shipment!
3. To manage or delete a one-time product:
4. Click the Delivery schedule tab.
5. Select Manage add-on.
How can I cancel a subscription?
We hate to see you go, but if you'd like to cancel your subscription, you will first need to log in to your customer portal.
1. Login to your customer portal.
2. Click Subscriptions and Manage Subscription.
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the Cancel Subscription.
Can I apply a discount code to a subscription?
All subscription items are 10% off and they are not eligible for additional discounts. If you have a one-time purchase item in your subscription order, discounts will apply to the one-time purchase item.
When will I be charged for my subscription?
You will be charged for your first subscription on the day you place the order. You will then be charged for your recurring subscription every 30, 60, or 90 days, depending on your delivery frequency.
We’ll notify you via email 3 days before you are charged for your recurring subscription. If you want to skip, cancel, delay, or swap flavours, you can do that within your customer portal.
When will my subscription ship?
Once you place the first subscription order, it will take about 2-5 business days to fulfill and ship. The recurring orders will be automatically placed every 30, 60, or 90 days depending on your delivery frequency, then fulfilled and shipped in 2-5 business days.
